Our Story

Melapop Aesthetics & Wellness was born in a treatment room, not a boardroom. Our founder Star is a licensed esthetician and cosmetic scientist who spent years sitting across from women whose concerns were dismissed, minimized, and misdiagnosed. She built Melapop because she was tired of watching women leave appointments without real answers. This is what happens when a woman who knows the science decides to build something better.

values, indeed

Integrative by design.

We treat the whole person, not just the symptom.

Built for melanin.

Every protocol, every product, every decision is made with melanin-rich skin in mind.

Queer affirming.

Every woman is welcome here. No exceptions.

Science first.

We are clinicians who believe in evidence, not trends.

Why Integrative Care Works

Most healthcare models treat your body in parts. You see one provider for your skin, another for your hormones, another for your mental health, and another for your reproductive concerns. Each one works from a narrow view of who you are and none of them are talking to each other. The result is a woman who has seen every specialist and still does not have answers.

Integrative care changes that. At Melapop, our departments do not operate in silos. We understand that hormonal imbalances show up on your skin. We know that chronic stress disrupts your cycle. We recognize that a difficult fertility journey affects your mental health in ways that deserve real clinical attention. When we treat you, we are looking at the full picture because that is the only way to get to the root of what is actually happening in your body.

This is not a new concept in medicine. It is simply one that has been largely unavailable to women in underrepresented communities. We built Melapop to change that.

The Next Chapter

We are just getting started. Melapop is currently welcoming new clients in McDonough, GA with Houston, TX opening Spring 2027. This is bigger than a practice. It is a movement.
